End of Term 1
As we come to the end of Term 1, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a fantastic start to the school year. First, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Year 7 and Year 12 students. Both groups have settled in exceptionally well and I am proud of how they have embraced the opportunities and challenges of this new chapter. Whether it’s adjusting to secondary school life or stepping into the responsibilities of Sixth Form, our new students have made an excellent start and we look forward to seeing their continued growth throughout the year.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the recent MLP Choir Event - it was a resounding success and we are incredibly proud of your dedication and talent. A special mention also goes to the Sixth Form football team - Salisbury Academy FC - for their fantastic start to the year in partnership with Salisbury Football Club. Your hard work on and off the field has truly paid off and we look forward to seeing more of your achievements throughout the year!
On a more personal note, I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to Mr Corcoran and his wife on the birth of their first child. I know the entire school community joins me in sending our best wishes to their family.
As we move into the next term, I want to thank you all - staff, students, and parents - for your hard work and support. It is through our collective efforts that we create such a positive and thriving environment for learning.
Wishing you all a restful break and looking forward to more successes in the coming term and welcoming students back on Monday, 4th November.
