Computing plays such an important part to the smooth running of our everyday lives, from the smartphones that we use, to being able to video call relatives across the other side of the world. Computing skills are valuable and sought after in the professional world for things like network security to the running of sports broadcasts. Our Computing program at Sarum Academy stands out because it embeds itself throughout the curriculum across key stage three. The course equips our students with key computer skills as well as problem solving skills and not only helps them to advance their own thinking, but also their progress in other subjects. Our computing course has a unique link to our Media production courses that are offered at higher key stages and learning ICT literacy opens doors of opportunity into the world of Media production
